We have four framing contractors with master carpenters as the foreman on each. These master carpenters have framed hundreds of custom homes and worked exclusively for us for over 20 years. We also have another few high-quality framing contractors that we use, to ensure that we maintain the quality for our clients that we demand.

We hand pick all of our framing materials which are #2 grade or better. We frame our homes on 16" centers including walls, joists, and rafters. Many other company's frame on 24" centers which can cause the drywall and rafters to have waves in them. We use Tech Shield roof decking, which has a foil back radiant barrier to reduce the temperature in the attic resulting in lower utility bills. We install hurricane ties on our homes to tie the rafters and the joists to the top plates. In the event of high winds, the ties will help keep the roof secured down to the walls. We use house wrap on our exterior walls as a vapor barrier.

On all our sub floors we use 1" tongue and groove decking which is glued and screwed down to the joists.

We use coated aluminum, polyvinyl and/or wood sash windows as a standard. The Low E2 insulated glass exceeds requirements for the national energy code and blocks 80% of incoming heat and 95% of UV rays as compared to clear glass.

We use a minimum of R30 insulation value in the attic and R13 or R19 fiberglass insulation in all exterior walls. All attic pony walls are backed to insure that the R value of the insulation is maintained. Expanding foam is used in all wall penetrations and a foam seal is used under all sole plates. All interior bedroom ,bath and utility walls are insulated with R11 insulation for sound proofing.

After we install the drywall prior to texture, we prime the sheet rock thereby resulting in a much better paint job on the walls and ceilings. All floors and windows are covered before texture and paint to prevent costly cleanup. The protective film remains on the windows until near completion to prevent damage to the glass.

Our exterior doors are built with custom grade material rather than using finger joint material which can separate over time causing leaks as well as ultimately requiring replacement of the door unit. The glass used in the doors is tempered for one's safety and southern Low "E" glass is used to prevent ultraviolet light penetration, which could result in fading of upholstery and floor covering.

Our trim crews are also "in house," providing a level of control and quality resulting in the very finest finishes possible.

Our cabinets are custom built to compliment your home and tastes. Our cabinet contractors have the latest in equipment to give you the finest in custom built cabinets for your home. Custom stain and paint finishes are available and can be pre finished on site.

We have our own "in house" painters as well as a limited number of other premium painting contractors that paint & stain our homes, utilizing quality paint products.

We use a high standard of equipment such as Trane, American Standard, Rheem, and Comfortmaker to maximize airflow, and efficieny. Nylon saddles are installed under all of the web straps holding flex duct to assure the best air flow possible.
